Workplace initiatives

We have introduced a range of initiatives across our workplace with the aim of reducing our impact on the environment. A large part of the success of these initiatives has been the strong support of our employees. What follows are just some of the many activities we have launched:

A web based communications system with ‘live meeting’ webcams, audio conferencing and instant messaging has been rolled out and has had a noticeable impact on travel within the Group;
All expense advice slips and payslips are now either emailed or available via the Intranet, no paper copies are produced;
We have provided confidential paper recycling bins and created recycling stations at all of our offices;
We have changed the printing paper we use to one that contains a high proportion (89%) of recycled material;
We encourage our people to ‘switch off and save’ – this includes turning off lights and putting PC monitors into sleep mode.
