We actively promote an open and honest corporate culture, encouraging our people to share their feedback and tell us how they feel about the issues they care about.
We have a number of initiatives in place to facilitate regular dialogue with our people. These include our regular road shows and informal lunch gatherings delivered by our Executive Chairman and senior directors, team meetings throughout all levels of our Company, regular newsletters and employee forums.
Excellent partnership arrangements with external organisations and Trade Unions ensure that we openly discuss, challenge and agree initiatives that have a positive impact on both our Group and our people.
We listen to our people and use their views, collected through regular engagement surveys, to make the KCOM Group more than just a place to work.
Through our Performance Management programme, we encourage all our people to have regular conversations with their managers to discuss performance at an individual and business level and to encourage personal development, mutual trust and respect. Being accountable for their actions and having an opportunity to influence the Company is important to our people.
We recognise our people’s contributions to our Group through a number of different awards including: Employee of the Quarter; Employee of the Year; Long Service awards, and; Leading Lights and People to be Proud of recognition schemes.
