How do I check my shareholding online?

You can check your shareholding on our shareholder portal at www.kcom-shares.com.

If you’re a new user click on ‘Register’ and follow the instructions. You will need your investor code, which can be found on your share certificate or on a dividend tax voucher.

How can I get shareholder information, including Notice of Meetings and Annual report and accounts?

There are three ways you can receive shareholder information.

Post: All documents will be sent to you through the post.
Online: You will receive a letter advising where you can find the online information.
Email: You will be emailed either with the information attached or with a link to where you can see the information online.

How do I transfer shares?

You need to complete a stock transfer form. Download the form here.

I’ve changed address. What do I have to do?

You can change your postal address online using the shareholder portal here. When you’ve logged in, click on 'Manage your account'.

I’ve lost my share certificate. How can I get a replacement?

Link Asset Services will send you an indemnity form through the post, which will need to be filled in before they can replace the missing certificate. Depending on the value of the shares, you may need to pay a fee.

It's not possible to request a letter of indemnity using your Share Portal account or the ‘contact us’ form.

How do I buy or sell my KCOM shares?

You can buy or sell KCOM shares through any share dealing service, such as those provided by stockbrokers, high street banks or online share dealing services.

Do you have a Dividend Reinvestment Programme?

Yes. This is administered by our registrar, Link Asset Services. To find out about it visit our shareholder portal at www.kcom-shares.com.

If you're a new user click on 'Register' and follow the instructions - you will need your investor code, which can be found on your share certificate or a dividend tax voucher. Once you're registered, select ’Manage your account’ and then ’Change your dividend details’.

How do I register the death of a shareholder?

If the holding is in the sole name of the deceased our registrar needs:

  • The original or sealed office copy of the Grant of Probate, original Letter of Administration or original Scottish Confirmation
  • The original share certificate

If you do not have a Grant of Representation, our registrar can offer a Small Estates procedure. Please contact our registrar for further information on 0371 664 0300.

My marital status has changed. How do I change my name on the register?

If you’re married, please write to our registrar enclosing the original copies of:

  • Your marriage certificate
  • Your share certificate for amendment

If you’re divorced, please write to our registrar enclosing the original copies of :

  • Your decree absolute
  • Your birth/marriage certificate to confirm your maiden name
  • Your share certificate for amendment

How do I get a copy of KCOM’s Annual report and accounts?

How can I get a copies of your regulatory news announcements?

You can go to the Regulatory News Service to view and/or download any of our announcements.

What is your fiscal year?

Our fiscal year runs from 1 April to March 31.

Can I listen to your results presentations?

Yes, our half year and full year results presentations are webcast live and replays are available for 12 months after our results are announced.

Who are your independent auditors?

Our independent registered public accounting firm is PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
